Instructions for use
MKII water distiller.
Recomendations : Always place the distiller on a flat surface and make sure the ventilation is adequate. Never use a damaged electrical cable. Do not immerse either of the distiller’s components in water and make sure the exterior remains dry. Once distillation is complete, It is recommended not to open the lid of the tank for at least 15 minutes to avoid burns due to steam.- Never allow children to use the device. Never clean the distiller with steel brushes or abrasives.

Cleaning the distiller:
Use a sponge and water to clean the outside of the distiller. Then wipe it with a cloth.
Use tap water to rinse the tank. This must be done with each use. If a crust forms at the bottom of the tank after several distillations, scaling the tank becomes necessary. Add the equivalent of 3 to 4 tablespoons of citric acid to the water in the tank then fill the tank with hot water and let the solution work for 4 hours. Then rinse and clean the tank with a non-abrasive sponge, rinse one last time. Never use an abrasive sponge or metal object that could damage the tank. The action of citric acid is sufficient for the tank to be de-stretched. Even if there are still some traces, these may disappear during a future scaling of the tank.
About distilled water
Precaution: It is advisable to keep distilled water cool if you keep it for more than 48 hours.
After an extended shutdown of more than 15 days, consider replacing the distiller filter.
